Consumer Credit & ID Verification Federal law requires that we obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account, including joint owners. Within this application, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents. Approval of your application may be delayed or denied pending further verification of your identity.

Consumer Reports By submitting an application, you authorize Clearwater Credit Union to obtain a soft consumer credit inquiry to evaluate your creditworthiness so that you may be considered for other Clearwater products and services. This inquiry will not affect your credit score. You also authorize Clearwater to use this consumer inquiry for the purposes of evaluating the membership application, reviewing any Clearwater accounts you open and verifying your identity. We also reserve the right to obtain a full consumer credit report if necessary, to approve your membership application or application for certain products, such as a checking account.
